I’m Peter Braun. I live in Fulda, where I design the future.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved creating things and finding ways to make life easier. My journey into programming started with a combination of two passions: gaming and automation. Back in the day, Minecraft wasn’t just a game for me – it was my personal playground for creativity and problem-solving. There was just one problem: playing with friends wasn’t as easy as clicking "Join." So, I rolled up my sleeves, hosted my own server, and started writing plugins. Hours turned into days, and honestly, the excitement made time fly faster than a powered minecart.

That spark of curiosity grew over the years. After completing my training as an IT management assistant and a dual degree in Applied Computer Science (B.Sc.), I dove deeper into the world of software development. One thing I learned along the way: the best solutions are often the simplest – a principle I still live by.

Take Snapper, for example – my pride and joy. Snapper DMS is designed to make document management simple, secure, and headache-free. Whether you’re using the app, the API, or the desktop platform, it’s built to help users streamline their workflows while ticking all the boxes for GDPR and GoBD compliance. It’s more than just a tool; it’s my way of giving people back their time (and maybe saving a few trees in the process).

My bigger vision? I want my code to make the world a little better – one automation at a time. By designing efficient solutions, I aim to save people time, reduce stress, and create a future where technology works for people, not the other way around. Because in the end, it’s not just about what we build – it’s about the difference it makes.
